Winnie Kao, N.P.

Winnie Kao is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialty focus in adult psychiatry. She has been practicing as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for over 8 years.

Winnie graduated in 2012 with her Bachelor’s in nursing from California State University, Long Beach; and proceeded to graduate with her Master’s in nursing with emphasis on nurse practitioner and psychiatry in 2014 from California State University, Long Beach.

Since obtaining her degree and certification, Winnie has practiced in various settings including inpatient hospitals, psychiatric urgent care, and outpatient. She is experienced in the treatment of all psychiatric disorders; with expertise in major depression, bipolar, anxiety, adult ADHD, and schizophrenia.

Winnie is a strong believer in working jointly with patients and colleagues in a respectful manner to achieve the highest level of care for both short term and long term goals of mental wellness.
