I tailor my treatment methods to fit each client’s needs and preferences, emphasizing a collaborative process where we work together to create meaningful treatment goals. I provide therapy to young adults, adults, and older adults, from diverse multicultural backgrounds. I address a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, adjustment disorders, relationship difficulties, stress management, grief and loss, and personal growth. As a multicultural psychologist, I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care, integrating diverse perspectives into my practice, and fostering strong therapeutic relationships that facilitate creative, timely interventions.
Qualifications and experience
I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychological assessment, where I gained extensive experience working with clients ranging from children to older adults. My expertise includes the assessment of learning disabilities, attention and concentration difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning and memory challenges, visual processing disorders, and mood/behavioral concerns.
I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, with a focus on Clinical Multicultural Community Psychology. I have worked at Los Angeles Valley College in the Student Psychological Services department and concurrently at the Services for Students with Disabilities. I received specialized training in selecting appropriate tests and accommodations for students with learning disorders, ADHD, and other disabilities to support their academic success.
