Therapeutic Approach: I use a holistic approach that integrates biopsychosocial and trauma-informed frameworks. This method aims to understand how biological factors, thoughts, mood, behavior, interpersonal relationships, environment, culture, and past experiences impact well-being. My goal is to tailor my approach to meet clients’ individual needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral, somatic, mindfulness, and relational approaches. In therapy, I collaborate with clients to create a safe and empowering environment where they can explore and process their feelings and experiences. Together, we focus on healing and finding practical solutions to help clients move forward.
Background: I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on child and adult trauma from the APA-accredited PhD program at Palo Alto University. I completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at a community mental health clinic, where I received generalist training in providing individual and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and their families. Additionally, I conducted comprehensive psychological assessments to clarify neurodevelopmental and psychopathological diagnoses and inform treatment planning. Throughout my training, I have delivered individual, group, and family psychotherapy to racially, ethnically, culturally, and diagnostically diverse children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including community mental health clinics, schools, and outpatient facilities. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, complex and attachment trauma, relational issues, and personal growth and insight building.
