Whatever brings you to therapy, whether you are seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, navigating challenging transitions, healing from past experiences, or simply exploring what you’re looking for in life, therapy can offer the support and space needed for growth. My goal is to create a compassionate and empowering environment where you can explore your unique experiences, uncover insights, and move toward a life that better aligns with your goals and values. I deeply value authenticity, both in my own life and in the therapeutic relationship. I believe in meeting you where you are, embracing you as you are, and working together to foster a genuine connection where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
As a relational therapist, I believe that the connection between therapist and patient is central to the healing process. I work from a biopsychosocial-spiritual perspective, and integrate both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approaches to support my clients in gaining greater insights, developing new coping skills, and making meaningful changes in their lives. I am committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care that recognizes and celebrates each person’s unique background, experiences, and identities. I aim to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel supported as you work toward healing and growth.
I earned my Psy.D. from APA-accredited Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in 2024. I enjoy working with individuals facing life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, identity development, attachment issues, and spiritual exploration. I have worked with individuals ranging from adolescence to older adulthood in community mental health clinics, college counseling centers, and private practice. I’ve worked with many culturally diverse individuals, including those navigating substance use disorders, mood disorders, life transitions, grief, and interpersonal violence. Additionally, I’ve provided individual and group therapy for college students facing academic pressures, identity development, relationship challenges, and family stressors. I am comfortable working with Christian clients who wish to incorporate their faith into therapy, as well as with individuals exploring or reevaluating their beliefs altogether. I also enjoy working with individuals who identify as spiritual in a variety of ways, including those with non-traditional or metaphysical beliefs.
