Therapeutic Approach: I consider initiating mental health services as a demonstration of the individual’s inner strength. Just the fact that you are aware of your distress and are willing to take a step shows your commitment to improving your quality of life. My goal in treatment is to create a safe environment for you to speak and be heard. I will hold the torch for you to explore the hidden parts of yourself. My treatment approach is relational and focused on discovering interpersonal patterns. We are all social beings, and as many of our mental health challenges are a result of interpersonal traumas, the healing can also take place only in the context of a relationship. I will be honored to become that companion in your healing journey.
