Torey Troggio, M.D.

I am a board certified psychiatrist who recently finished my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. I received my bachelor’s degree (B.S.) and medical degree (M.D.) from Indiana University prior to moving to Los Angeles for psychiatry residency training at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. I have clinical experience and interest in treating various mental health conditions including mood disorders like depression and bipolar, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, substance use and personality disorders. I have found that the treatment of mental illness often involves an integrated approach, combining both medication management and therapy—I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing as a result of working closely with clinical psychologists and other therapists throughout my training. My background in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry has also given me a better understanding into the developmental and environmental factors that can impact one’s mental health.
