I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. The majority of my experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families; I also have experience working individually with adults. I provide therapy services, as well as psychodiagnostic assessment. I am passionate about erasing the stigma around mental health care and increasing access to care within underserved communities. When working with individuals, I understand how vulnerable it can be to share difficult experiences. That is why I strive to create a space where clients feel safe and heard. I take an empathic, compassionate, and strengths-based approach to foster a collaborative relationship with clients as they work towards their goals. Background
I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. My training included working in school-based, community-based, and pediatric settings. completed my pre-doctoral internship at an APA-Accredited placement with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. My primary rotation there was with assessment and evaluations. I also have significant experience in crisis work and support, including conducting suicide prevention trainings to clinicians and professionals.
