Therapeutic Approach: My integrated treatment approach combines relational and behavioral perspectives to support clients in pursuing their goals. My approach is built from my personal and professional experiences, as well as my educational background. I focus on establishing a safe, secure, and positive environment in order to promote a strong collaborative relationship with my clients. I believe that therapy is a space to both process past and present life experiences, as well as to build and practice new skills and competencies. I am passionate about serving culturally diverse populations to promote positive multicultural identity development. I provide therapy in English and Mandarin.
Background: I attended the University of California, Los Angeles, for my undergraduate degree in Psychobiology, BS, and Interpersonal Communications, BA. I returned to graduate school at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California to obtain my PsyD in Clinical Psychology and completed an APA Doctoral Internship at The Help Group in Sherman Oaks, California.
