Therapeutic Approach: My clinical approach is integrative, strength based, culturally sensitive, and above all, positive, focusing on the person’s individual nature and characteristics. I understand that individuals have their own unique challenges, life experiences, and their own perceptions of life. Therefore, having empathic understanding and positive regard for my clients is crucial in my approach. As such, I feel that it is a privilege working with each one of my clients in their individual life’s journey, collaborating, using reason, and discovering new knowledge together to achieve their goals. I work with individuals with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, anger management concerns, parent-child, and couples relationship therapy, ADHD, issues of trauma, adjustment, and phase of life problems, among others. I provide affirmative psychotherapy to those who identify as LGBTQ, and provide psychological assessment for children ages 6 and up.
